About this event
The fifth Bangkok Art Biennale spreads contemporary art across temples, museums and malls for four months.
The fifth edition of the Bangkok Art Biennale takes the theme Angels and Mara, drawing on Buddhist cosmology to explore hope, protection and the darker forces that test us.
Works by Thai and international artists are installed across the city, with venues including Wat Pho, Wat Arun, Wat Prayoon, the National Museum, Museum Siam, Silpakorn Art Center, BACC, One Bangkok, centralwOrld and Siam Paragon. A symposium is scheduled for 30 October 2026.
