Music festivals in Thailand come thick and fast once the rains stop. From late November to January there is a big event almost every weekend: Wonderfruit and Tomorrowland Thailand near Pattaya, Big Mountain in Khao Yai, EDC on Phuket, and a string of smaller camping festivals up north. Then Songkran brings the water-soaked EDM parties in April. This guide lists the 2026–2027 festivals with confirmed dates, says clearly where a date has not been announced, and explains how to reach each one from Bangkok.

Last checked: October 2026. Dates below come from organisers or established outlets such as Time Out Bangkok and BK Magazine. Festivals do move or cancel, so confirm on the official site before you buy flights or tickets. For one-off concerts rather than festivals, see our concerts in Bangkok 2026–2027 guide.

A two-day electronic festival at Cloud 11, the creative complex on Sukhumvit near Phra Khanong. Two-day passes were listed from THB 1,990 early bird to THB 3,890. It is the easiest festival of the season to reach: just take the BTS. Event details.

Cat Expo Bangkok (21 and 22 November 2026)

Cat Radio's long-running Thai indie festival is at Siam Amazing Park this year. The line-up includes 4EVE, Polycat, Phum Viphurit, Moderndog and Nont Tanont. Both days were sold out when we checked. Event details.

LaLaLa Presents Bangkok (20 January 2027)

The first Thai edition of the LaLaLa festival brand takes over IMPACT Challenger Hall 3, with Olivia Dean headlining and Jungle, MILLI, KIKI and Cyndi Seui on the bill. Time Out lists tickets from around THB 2,900. Event details.

Bangkok Music City (30 and 31 January 2027)

Half showcase, half music conference, with emerging Asian acts and industry panels. The 2026 edition was in Charoen Krung and free for the public. The 2027 venue had not been announced when we checked. Event details.

Wonderfruit (3 to 7 December 2026)

Thailand's best-known boutique festival returns to The Fields at Siam Country Club, about 150 km south-east of Bangkok near Pattaya. It runs over five days and mixes music with art, talks, workshops, wellness and food. Camping is available on site, and many people stay in Pattaya hotels instead and use the shuttles. The 2026 line-up had not been announced when we checked. Tickets are sold at wonderfruit.co. Event details.

Tomorrowland Thailand (11 to 13 December 2026)

The Belgian festival brand's first Thai edition takes place at Wisdom Valley in the Chonburi hills, about two hours from Bangkok. The line-up includes Alan Walker, Martin Garrix, Vini Vici, Ferry Corsten and John Newman. There is no camping, so plan on a Pattaya hotel and the official shuttles. The festival was sold out when we checked. Buy resale only through the official Tomorrowland platform. Event details.

Rolling Loud Thailand: not happening for now

The hip-hop festival ran at Legend Siam in Pattaya in 2023 and 2024. Organisers cancelled the November 2025 edition, and we have found no announcement of a 2026 or 2027 edition. We will add it here if that changes.

Khao Yai, Phuket and the islands

Big Mountain Music Village (12 and 13 December 2026)

Thailand's biggest Thai-language festival is back with a new name and a new site, Farm Chokchai 3 near Pak Chong, in Nakhon Ratchasima province. Expect dozens of Thai acts across pop, rock, indie, hip-hop, mor lam and EDM. Time Out reported early tickets from THB 2,000. From Bangkok it is about three hours by road. Weekend traffic on Mittraphap Road is heavy, so leave early.

EDC Thailand (18 to 20 December 2026)

Insomniac's Electric Daisy Carnival heads to Rhythm Park at Laguna Phuket, with Martin Garrix, Tiësto, DJ Snake, Charlotte de Witte, Dom Dolla and Above & Beyond on the bill. Entry is 20+. From Bangkok, fly to Phuket. It is roughly an hour and a half from Don Mueang or Suvarnabhumi.

Fly To The Moon (29 December 2026 to 2 January 2027)

A small, capped festival spread across beaches and boats on Koh Mak and Koh Kood in Trat province, finishing with a New Year countdown. Getting there takes a drive or flight to Trat, then a ferry. If you would rather stay in the city for New Year, see our New Year's Eve Bangkok guide.

Northern Thailand: camping festivals

Chiang Mai's hills host the most relaxed festivals of the season. All are a short flight from Bangkok.

  • Mycelium Festival, Chapter Five (20 to 22 November 2026) at Tiger Jungle Art Camp, Chiang Dao. Electronic music and camping.
  • Double Dick Tiger (26 to 29 November 2026) near Chiang Dao. You must arrive on the Thursday, and you need to bring your own camping gear.
  • Chiang Yai Fest (28 and 29 November 2026) at Royal Train Garden Resort, with nearly 40 Thai acts including Three Man Down, TaitosmitH and Jeff Satur.
  • Gaia Beats (22 to 24 January 2027) at Sense Hot Spring in Mae On, east of Chiang Mai. It is not-for-profit, and camping is included.

Songkran festivals (April 2027)

Songkran, the Thai New Year, runs from 13 to 15 April, and Bangkok's big ticketed water-and-EDM festivals cluster around it.

  • S2O Songkran Music Festival. The 2026 edition ran from 11 to 13 April at S2O Land on Ratchadaphisek Road. 2027 dates have not been announced yet. Past editions have fallen in the days just before Songkran.
  • SIAM Songkran 2027 has announced 10 to 13 April 2027 at the Bravo BKK arena area, themed "LUMINARA".

Our Songkran 2027 Bangkok guide covers the free street water fights in Silom and Khao San as well.

Tips for festival season in Thailand

  • Book transport and rooms early. Pattaya hotels fill up for Wonderfruit and Tomorrowland, and both weekends clash with other December events.
  • Use official shuttles where they exist. Roads to the Chonburi festival sites get very congested at closing time.
  • Carry ID. Many festivals are 20+, and alcohol sales are restricted by law at certain hours and on Buddhist holidays.
  • Pack for heat and dust. Even in December, afternoons are hot. Bring sunscreen, a hat and a refillable bottle where allowed.
  • Watch for cashless systems. Most big festivals use wristband top-ups, so check refund rules.
  • Don't buy tickets on social media. Sold-out events attract scams.
