Business and tech events in Bangkok run all year, but the busiest stretch is from November to March, when the big halls fill with trade fairs and the meetup scene is in full swing. Whether you are a founder, a developer, a buyer at a trade show or just curious about the latest cars and gadgets, this guide covers the main venues, the major recurring expos with their confirmed dates, and the regular meetups worth putting in your calendar.

All dates below come from organisers or venue calendars at the time of writing. Where a 2027 date has not been announced, we say so. For the live list, see the business and tech events category.

Last checked: October 2026.

Upcoming business and tech events

The three big venues

Most large conferences and trade fairs in Bangkok happen at one of three exhibition centres. Knowing which one an event is in tells you a lot about how long it will take to get there.

Queen Sirikit National Convention Center (QSNCC)

Reopened in 2022 after a full rebuild, QSNCC sits on Ratchadaphisek Road next to Benjakitti Park, in the middle of the city. It is the easiest of the three to reach: MRT Queen Sirikit National Convention Centre station is right next to the building, and BTS Asok and Phrom Phong are a short taxi ride away. It hosts many conferences, consumer fairs and book fairs. See the Asok and Phrom Phong area guide.

BITEC, Bang Na

The Bangkok International Trade and Exhibition Centre is on Bang Na-Trat Road in the south-east, a short walk from BTS Bang Na station on the Sukhumvit line. It is home to many industrial and engineering trade shows, and also has BITEC Live, a concert and event hall. See the Bang Na area guide.

IMPACT, Muang Thong Thani

The largest complex, IMPACT includes IMPACT Arena, IMPACT Challenger, IMPACT Forum and the Exhibition Center halls, in Muang Thong Thani, Nonthaburi, north of the city. It hosts the motor shows, the giant food fair THAIFEX and many consumer expos. The MRT Pink Line runs to Impact Muang Thong Thani station, which makes it far easier to reach than it used to be. Otherwise allow 45 minutes to over an hour by car from central Bangkok. See the Nonthaburi and Muang Thong Thani area guide.

Bangkok International Motor Show

Thailand's biggest car show, organised by Grand Prix International, runs for about twelve days around the end of March. The 48th edition is listed for 24 March to 4 April 2027 at IMPACT Muang Thong Thani. It is one of the busiest events of the year at IMPACT, so take the Pink Line and avoid weekends if you can.

THAIFEX - Anuga Asia

The region's largest food and drink trade fair fills most of IMPACT each May. The 2027 edition has been announced for 25 to 29 May 2027. Trade days come first, and the final days are usually open to the public.

Techsauce Global Summit

Bangkok's best-known startup and tech conference has been held at QSNCC in recent years, in August. The 2027 dates had not been announced when we checked.

Book fairs

Book fairs might not sound like business events, but the National Book Fair at QSNCC each spring (with a rights fair for publishers) is one of the largest public events in the city. Its sister event, Book Expo Thailand, runs at QSNCC until 1 November 2026.

Meetups, talks and networking

The meetup scene is where you meet Bangkok's developers, product people and founders. Most events are in English, small (20 to 100 people) and free or cheap, often with drinks. A few regulars currently in our listings:

Thai-language workshops also run regularly, such as the beginner AI workshops at Yaru, Grande Centre Point Lumphini (for example the 2 November session).

Many meetups are posted only a week or two ahead, so check events this week for the latest.

Tips for attending trade shows in Bangkok

  • Pre-register online. Many trade fairs are free for registered trade visitors but charge, or refuse entry, at the door. Bring a business card or company ID.
  • Check trade and public days. Big fairs often keep the first days for trade visitors only.
  • Take the train. The MRT Blue Line serves QSNCC, the BTS Sukhumvit line serves BITEC, and the MRT Pink Line serves IMPACT. Taxis queue for a long time after closing.
  • Allow for scale. IMPACT and BITEC are huge. Wear comfortable shoes and check the hall number before you go.
  • Dress code: smart casual is standard. Halls are air-conditioned and can be cold.
  • Bring cash and a card. Food courts and some exhibitors still prefer cash.
